ACH processing for high-growth, complex businesses
Last updated October 11, 2026
ACH origination is a bank decision, separate from your card MID. The bank that sends your debits answers to Nacha for your returns: 0.5% unauthorized, 3% administrative, 15% overall. We match your file to a bank that will review ACH for your business, return history included. Subject to bank approval.
We place payment processing, business banking and crypto rails for high-growth, complex businesses with institutions that take the industry, then watch the chargeback ratios, reserves and reviews that get accounts closed, with more than one rail so one bank's no doesn't stop the business. Approval is never guaranteed.
Who it's for
- Merchants who want a rail beside cards
- Fintechs and platforms that originate ACH
- MSBs whose returns need a bank that understands the program
- Businesses declined because the last bank only wanted simple debits
What the bank needs
- What you debit or credit, and why
- Return history, disclosed
- Authorization and customer-service contacts
- Licenses you hold, if any
Why is ACH a separate approval?
The bank that sends your entries into the network, the ODFI, is responsible for them under the Nacha Rules. Your returns count against its program. So it underwrites ACH on its own, even if you already have a card MID.
What return rates will the bank watch?
On ACH debits, Nacha sets 0.5% for unauthorized returns, 3% for administrative returns and 15% overall (Nacha). Since 2026, originators and the banks behind them also need risk-based fraud monitoring (Nacha). Full detail: Nacha return rate limits.
Is any industry banned from ACH?
No. Nacha says its return levels are not industry-based. Each bank sets its own appetite, which is why fit matters.
How do we help?
We're not a bank, processor, or money transmitter. We structure the deal, build the file, and place it with institutions in our network: decades of relationships with 40+ financial institutions and solution providers. The bank decides, and approval is never guaranteed.
